In this site, you will be finding me in two different formats:
one, as a solo composer-singer of modern songs (as well as a singer of Rabindra Sangeet and Harano Diner Gaan) ;
and another, as the vocalist of a band called Faheem O Doorbeen.

Now, some of you may be wondering: ‘Is this guy crazy or what…why is he composing and singing songs with so much hard work and putting them on the web for free downloading? Shouldn’t he have gone for commercial publication…etc.’

Well, my answer is simple and straight. Music is not a commercial venture to me. It has never been so, and trust you me, it will never be.

To me, music is an absolute gift of Almighty for His creation and therefore, it is one of the purest assets for humans. I have been singing and composing songs absolutely for the sake of my moral and emotional existence, and I feel pleasure if people get some satisfaction out of my music…

One thing I say to you all: if God permits, you will be finding my-as well as my band Doorbeen’s-albums consistently in this site.

I wish you’ll like these songs-not all probably, but may be some of them or even just one…but I have tried my best to be honest and dedicated toward my work.

I have wanted to give you songs meant entirely for soulful listening. No loudness, no chaos, no clamor, nothing…but a soothing feel of melody, melancholy and delight. I have always believed in performing music, rather than polluting music. How far I have been, and will be, successful rests on your judgment as listeners…
